Panovski, Socrates (village V’mbel, Kostur, 1936) – Educated Dian, Society, ethnographer and publicist. At the age of twelve, as a child-refugee from the civil war in Greece (1948), he was cared for in the children’s homes Vaca de JOS, Arad and Tulghesh (Romania). Later, education continued in the school for students in the Economy in Pharlinte, in the Hrya Rose in Bucharest, and after the completion of the pedagogical gymnasium in Velantograd (Bulgaria) and the course for teachers for primary schools were returned to the Macedonian language teacher of Macedonian children In the collection center for emigrants from Greece in the village of Vykle, Borough St. George (Romania). In 1957 He was repatriated in the NRM and here, he completed his education, graduating at the Pedagogical Academy (Group Biology and Chemistry), and then at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje (Group Biology). Along with extraordinary study, he worked as a teacher, elementary school, chief for education of the municipality of Cair (Skopje), Secretary of the Secretariat for Education of the City of Skopje and as an independent pedagogical adviser in the Pedagogical Institute of Macedonia. As a social staff, he developed broad activity in various children’s organizations, especially in the organization of the Children’s Song Festival “Golden Slavejce”, and he was a long-time president of the chorus of educators “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje. He is the author of several textbooks and other papers in the field of education. In the last decade, he also showed a researcher and publicist for the country’s birth.
