Nicodemus Prilep-Titman

Nicodemus Prilep-Tisman (Prilep, ⅹⅳ – Tisman monastery, Romania, 1406) – Church and literary DEPE. He received the spiritual and literary experience of Mount Athos. In the second half of ⅹⅳ c. He went to Vlach (Romania), where he founded the first monasteries “Guess” and “Tisman”. The rich literary activity has been preserved only one very lavishly illuminated Gospel (1404/5), which is the oldest dated Roman-ski manuscript kept in Bu-Kurrow (Museum of Art). Archimandrite Nicodemic died in the Tismanian monastery, where he was abbot. With its activity, it has a historic role in the development of Macedonian-Romanian spiritual and literary connections at the transition from ⅹⅳ in ⅹⅴ c. Lit.: H.
