NATOVSKI, ICO Vasilev (village Openics Bitola, 12. ⅶ 1959) – Macedonian publicist. After migration to Australia (1985) he completes studies in history and multiculture of Victoria University of Melbourne, where he is also a master’s degree (1997) on the topic of “challenged identity: Macedonians in contemporary Australia”. After several years of research at the University, it prepares papers: “Maintaining the Macedonian language and Macedonian youth”, “Comparison of three ethnic groups: Macedonians, Lebanians and the Dutch,” “The first Macedonian generation: integration or assimilation,” “Macedonians in Victoria”. He teaches Macedonian and English in several secondary schools, and 15 years teaches in the Victorian language school. Over 10 years in the Ministry of Education of Australia evaluates the final exams, and prepares graduates from all secondary schools in the country where the Macedonian language is in regular classes. He actively participates in Macedonian organizations and writes about Macedonian newspapers and magazines. For more than 10 years is the Govertra-editor of the Macedonian Radio Program “Three times the news” in Melbourne. Bl. R. Tyho Najdovski.
