“Nativity of the Virgin” – a monastery in the village. Manastant (Upper), in Poreche in Makedonski Brod. The monastery church is surrounded by lodgings. According to legends, he erected Serbian King Milutin. It was mistaken among the churches of ⅹⅰⅹ c. It is a monumental structure with one-room basis, whose outs on the west side crosses the prima. More recently, the old wall painting is discovered, whose stylish features – monumentality, with elements of late-corruption styles – point to the second half of ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ c. In the western part of the inside (the prank) is a monumental terrible court, the only one of its kind in Macedonia. Within the terrible court there is a painted arcosolium, with a marten monastic character, at some Miletius, perhaps abbot of the monastery, in a prayer attitude before Christ. Lit.: M. M.
