Mitkov, Vladimir (Kavadarci, 20. 1931) – University professor, lawyer, statesman. Primary and secondary education ended in the hometown, and the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1954). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Law in Skopje, defending the doctoral dissertation “Institutions of Social Services” (1964). Elected Assistant at the Faculty of Law in Skopje on the subject of Constitutional Law (1960), for assistant minority-Vladimir Mitkov, the SFRY Social Policy System and the CFRY (1965), for extraordinary (1970) and regular professor (1975 ). He was a member of the Executive Council of the SRM (1974-1982), MP in the Council of the Municipalities in the Assembly of the SRM (1969-1974), Judge (1983) and chairman of the Constitutional Court of SRM (1984-1986), a member of the Presidency of the SRM (1986-1989) and president of the presidency of the SRM (1990). He published several textbooks and scientific papers in the field of political and communal system and local self-government.
