Miokasi

Miokasi. (Village at Kicevo, Locality Gradiste – a wreath) – a settlement located on a strategic position on the dominant hill that rises from the flat field in the Valley of the Great River through which the road Kicevo-ship passes. The site is surrounded by a series of rent and late antique time: the hill Kale on the opposite shore of Revetin Reka, direct, behind the knocks, cross and a term, which speaks of the intensive population of the region. The top of the hill is surrounded by a well-preserved massive turret with defensive towers, from where the name wreath comes. It leads to the road in the rock of the western foot. Traces of continuous living from prehistory – Neolithic, Iron time, Hellenistic and Roman times, late antiquity and Middle Ages. The highest position inside the determination is a three-nave basilica with Baptisterium of V-ⅵ c ..
