Marjanovic, George

Marjanovic, George (village Old Morica, Serbia, 6. ⅴ 1939) – University professor, lawyer. Primary and secondary education ended in Kumanovo and Skopje. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1962). Master degree at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb (1968), while he received his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Law in Skopje on the topic “The legal position of the convict after the served sentence” (1973). Elected as an assistant in the case of criminal law of the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1965), for assistant (1974) and for a full-time professor (1993). He translated several works by: Carl Marx, Gunther Kaiser and Stefan Zviig (from German in Macedonian), Antoine de Saint-Exupers and Marcel Prust (from French in Macedonian language). Founder and leader of the Political Party League for Democracy. He published more than one hundred scientific and professional papers in the field of criminal law.
