Murfood head. (ACHERONIC ATHOPOS L.) – Pumped night butterfly. It belongs to the group of sembernits (SPhyinggoida). Often enters the bee baskets and eat honey. She received the name after the distinctive pattern of a morphone head on the back side of the body that resembles a mercy head. There is a wingspan and up to 12 cm. It lives on dry and sunny terrain. It is active at night. It is widespread in Southern Europe and North Africa. In Macedonia it is rarely found.
