Macedonian societies in Switzerland (1899-1919). In recent years of ⅹⅰⅹ c. Macedonian students in Switzerland were organized in Macedonian student societies. An Active Macedonian Student Company in Bern (1899) in order to draw Europe’s attention to the situation in Macedonia. The activity of the company was supported and assisted by foreign students, first-order Russians. In Friborg (26. ⅺ) was the founded Macedonian Student Company. The founding assembly was the continuity of the acquittal fighting in Macedonia from the Kresna Uprising (1878/79) to the existing organized struggle (from 1893). The Macedonian Student Company was in Geneva (1904). Here an academic association “Macedonia” was established (in autumn 1915), and Macedonian students in Zurich established a political society “Macedonia of the Macedonians”. Towards the end of the First World War in Switzerland, new Macedonian companies were established (1916-1919): Society for the Rights of the Macedonians “Macedonia” in Lausanne; Macedonian Society “Vardar”, with the virgin: “Macedonia of the Macedonians”. All had the sole purpose: the release and unification of Macedonia and the creation of a Macedonian state. The Union of Macedonian companies in Switzerland (15th 1918) was formed, which issued their own newsletter and was active before the end of 1919, until the end of the work of the Versaille Peace Conference.
