The first state official on the territory of Macedonia opened the Turkish authorities in Bitola (1843), and several years later, postparted in Skopje and Stip. After the Second World War, the post office in the NRM were restored, and for the first director of the PTT service of Macedonia (with a decision of ASNOM) was named Blagoja Tashev (1915-1950).
