Limanovski, Nizazi (Rostuse, Lower River, 27. 1941 – Skopje, 11. 1997) – Ethnologist, UNIV. Professor. It originates from parents Islamized Macedonians. He graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, a group of geography, and received his doctorate at the Department of Ethnology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Bel-city with the topic “ethnocratic characteristics of Islamized Macedonians”. In February 1994 He is elected professor for a group of cases of study by ethnology at the Geographical Institute at the PMF in Skopje. Niyazi Limanovski was Director of Radio Debar, then worked in the information service of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, assistant to the President of the Republican Education and Physical Education, then Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, MP in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, founder of the Republic Association of Cultural Community – The science manifestations of Macedonians-Muslims (1979), a member of the Union of Journalists, the Association of Ethnologists of Macedonia, the Association of Folklorists, the Macedonian Geographical Society, etc. He published four books and over 50 scientific papers in the field of ethnography.
