Leo Ohridski

Leo Ohrid. (Paphlagonia, Asia Minor, XI in. – Ohrid, 1056) – Ohrid Archbishop (OK. 1037-1056) and literary DEPE. After Joanna Debarski, he was the first Ohrid Archbishop of Non-Macedonian origin – Byzantine. He renewed the cathedral “St. Sofia, “destroyed in 1018 from the Byzantines when winning Ohrid. With polemic works against the latin and encyclists referred to Pope Leo IX (1049-1054) and until all bishops opened the clash for the final separation of the western and eastern church from the general Christian ecumenic ecum.
