Laiai

Laiai (Laiaii) – Paione tribe, first mentioned by Tucidide in the work history, regarding the campaign of the Thracian King Si-Talc (429 BC). They lived south of Paione tribe Agriani, in the upper course of the Strumon River (Struma). Cooked their coins. Their Occrahmi had an average weight of 32 grams, with a beard of a bearded man driving a car dragged from the Wall, legend λαιαι (οι) and helmet in the goal (on the avers) and Pegasus in the game of the reverver). They disappeared from the historical scene in the processes of the unification of Paionian tribes and the creation of their common state. An out: Tuccheadis, Historiae, Odioni, 1942. E.
