Kindergartens -. Type of pre-school institutions. Especially intense development experienced after the liberation of Macedonia. The activity of kindergartens consists in care, residence, nursing, nutrition, education and education, sportsmaking and cultural and entertainment activities, measures and activities for improving health and encouraging intellectual, emotional activities in kindergarten “Pinocchio” Intention and the social development of the child to a 6-year-old life, that is, the inclusion in primary education. The work of kindergartens is organized according to the age of children, as a rule, in homogeneous groups. Plans and programs for educational work are adopted by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, upon a proposal of a scientific or specialized professional institution. According to the duration, the kindergarten realized a full-day stay program (from 8 to 11 hours) and for half-day stay (from 4 to 6 hours). It can be organized as a public (municipal) and private kindergarten. The public kindergarten manages the UP Raven Board composed of representatives of the founder (3), parents (2), the institution (1) and the Ministry (1). The activity of kindergartens is regulated by the Law on Child Protection (2000) (c. Pre-school institutions; preschool education and education in Macedonia). Lit.: K.
