Kavayev, Vladimir (Struga, 1885 – 1931) – doctor, surgeon, participant in Vladimir Kaval October Revolution. He first teaches in the spiritual seminary in Constantinople, and then finished the Military Medical Academy in Petrograd. He specialized in Berlin (1920). Was a personal friend and associate of V. I. Lenin. He worked in the repatriation of immigrants. After returning to Struga (1923), he was particularly credited with the suppression of malaria. He spent the last years of life in Ohrid.
