Karacasevic, Bogdan Aleksandrov

Karacachevic, Bogdan Aleksandrov (village Clevank, Serbia, 21. ⅷ 1908 – Skopje, 2. ⅻ 1996) – Microbiologist-epidemiologist, regular prof. of honey. f. (1967). Graduated from honey. Falk. In Zagreb (1934), where he completed a specialization in bacteriology and epidemiology (1941). He stayed and perfected in Berlin, Paris, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Prague. After coming to Skopje, he was appointed director of the Central Hygiene Institute (1952-1954), and since 1954 he was director of the Bacteriological Institute of Honey. Falk., a freelance teacher in hygiene and epidemiology, associate professor of microbiology. A full professor of microbiology with parasitology and head of the Department (1957). Organized scientific meetings and symposia for contemporary epidemiology and health organization; Conferences on microbiology and epidemiology of chronic non-communicable diseases and environmental protection. Edit the collections of scientific meetings and magazines “Hygiene” and “epidemiology, infectology and microbiology”.
