Janev, Ratko

Janev, Ratko (Sandanski, Bulgaria, 30. 1939) – Physicist, scientific adviser (1981) at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, MANU member (1988). He graduated (1963) at the ETF Technical Physics Department in Belgrade. Masters Degree (1965) and Phmf in Belgrade with topics related to atomic clashes representing his multi-day preoccupation. He specialized in St. Petersburg. He worked at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences in Vinca and at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, and after almost two decades in the International Atomic Energy Agency of Creation of Data for Atoment Conflicts in Plasma and their evaluation, and in relation to the research of fusion. He published a number of articles in top magazines on the mentioned topics, gas lasers, clashes with hard surfaces, the process of processes in Tokamak, etc. He was a guest professor at several universities around the world.
