Injection of forest trees – a scientific discipline that studies and elaborates the principles and methods of choice and creating forest trees and shrubs with improved properties, which with its growth, quality and aesthetic appearance will meet the needs of man, but also on the forest economy , Horticulture, tourism, agriculture and other economic branches. With the processing of forest trees, their genetic constitution is changing, so improved genotypes and their populations represent enriched “cultural” hybrids or races. The processing is not just finding and creating a new genotype or race, but also their study, choosing and developing the most suitable breeding technique. Growing experiences and findings from various areas of biology, especially from genetics, are the starting bases of this scientific discipline. The basic methods of processing are: selection, hybridization and o mutations. The selection is selected, conserved, controlled are pollinated and multiplied by the best genotypes created by nature in the rims of their populations. The selection can be individual or massive. Hybridization is the intersection of individuals with different hereditary properties in order to obtain a hybrid with a positive combination of properties. Depending on how it arises, the hybridization is divided into: spontaneous, subposer and controlled, and depending on the genetic kinship of individuals crossing in: Investiga (intraspecies), interspecian (interspecies) and intergus (intergenus). Mutations constitute changes in the genetic constitution of individuals. Depending on how they occurred, they are divided into natural (spontaneous) and artificial (induced).
