Iconomov, Peter (Skopje, 10. 1915 – Skopje, 2004) – Primary and secondary education ended in Skopje. He graduated Biology of PMF in Sofia (1942). He was director of the Natural History Museum of Macedonia (1945-1958). In 1946 He was elected a teacher of the Biology Group at the Faculty of Philosophy. By 1952 He participated in teaching as a lecturer. The doctoral dissertation defended it in 1959. Professor was until 1960, associate professor until 1965 and then full professor. He went retired in 1981 He dealt with the study of systematics, ecology, spreading and zoophemotographic affiliation of epiceropter and telephire in Macedonia. Published more than 45 scientific papers. D. PR.
