Halkozovic, Janko (Macedonia, ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ c. – Novi Sad, 1794) – Painter, Macedonian by origin, inhabited in Novi Sad. Worked orders for frustrogic monasteries in the manner of the Ukrainian Baroque. In several projects he collaborated with the painter Vasily Ostacic. He made icons for the Manaster Managers, Krushevol (1745), a small rigger (1757), Benichin (1758) and Khovzdin (1772). He painted Icons and the Orthodox Church in Osijek (1761), which were destroyed in World War II. Lit.: O. Mickeyђ, L.
