Glavinov, Vasil (Veles, 1869 – Sofia, 24. 1929) – The founder of the Social Democratic Movement in Macedonia. As a carpenter worker in Sofia, he accepted and Shi-Vasil Glavinov Rel Socialism. He was a member of the Bulgarian workers’ company “Brotherhood”. In 1893 He formed the independent Macedonian social-democratic group with the task of spreading the socialist ideology between Macedonian migrant workers and in Macedonia. He tried the group to grow into a Macedonian party, but was not supported by the Bulgarian Socialists, who declared a separatist. In 1894 In Veles, he formed the first employee cultural and educational company. He issued the first Macedonian socialist newspapers “Revolón” and “Political Svoboda”, who called for the release of Macedonia and to create an independent republic. Members of the Group (not Glavinov) entered the Macedonian Revolutionary Organization and, as fighters and dukes, participated in the Ilinden Uprising. After the uprising, Glavinov healed the class working movement. After the First World War, he acted in Bulgaria.
