Gjurchinov, Milan

Gjurchinov, Milan (Belgrade, 28. ⅵ 1928) – essayist, critic, literary historian and theorist, anthologist. He is a member of Manu since 1988. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Doctor is after Philological Sciences. He was a professor at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, head of the Department of Slavics and Founder and Head of the Department of Comparative Literature. He was a member of the Editorial Statement of the SP. “Reviews”, chairman of the Council of the SVP. Milan Gjurcinov member is of the Macedonian Pancentar and a member of the Macedonian DPM since 1956, and in a mandate and his president. He is the most subtle Macedonian literary critic, who with his broad education and cultivation, with its pluralistic views on creative phenomena and with the criterion of the highest domain, will bring a new spirit in the interpretation of literary work in our environment, approaching the critical activity towards European standards.
