Ginoski, Panayat

Ginoski, Panaya (Galichnik, 1842 – Vranje, 8. 1886) – Folklorist, revivalry, painter, lexicographer, ethnographer. He received elementary education from his father, who was a teacher, and at the age of 14 he began to teach the painful craft in the famous Galician painter Gjurich Frchkovski. Then he went on a job in Bulgaria. In Karlovo, he hurt the ankle of his leg and was forced to return to Galichnik, where he remained for another 17 years, nailed for bed and incapable of physical work. At that time, he dealt with prescribing books, enrollment of folk reputations, customs, making a vocabulary, etc. In a sub-rag after better living conditions, the family moved to Vranje (1881), where he died. The recorded materials left in manuscript Brother Alexo gave the Russian consul in Montenegro Pavel A.
