The Garkata, Petre Filipovic (village Garry, the 80s of ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ c. Garry in a small river. The path of its education and training in the carving craft is investigated on the basis of family traditions and stylistic analysis of numerous iconostasis on the territory of Mount Athos, Greece, Albania and Macedonia during the ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ and early ⅹⅰⅹ. The characteristics of his work – emphasized the presence of human, plant and animal figures shaped in thickened space, with the sharp proportions, as well as the specific architectonics of the iconostasis that he made – are recognized in the older carvings of the epilic painters, prevalent most in northwestern Greece, in Albania And in Macedonia in ⅹⅴⅰⅰⅰ c. It is certain that the work of his Type is the iconostasis in the church of the Lesnovo Monastery (1814), in “St. Spas “in Skopje (1824),” St. George “in Prizren (1829) and the Bigorski Monastery (1835). It is considered to cooperate with the performance of the iconostasis in the church “St. The Virgin “in Skopje (OK 1840), in the Rila monastery (1841-1842), in” St. Annunciation “In Prilep (after 1838).
