Gallogage, Stephen

Gallogage, Stefan (Ponikva at Tupco, 20. ⅱ 1893 – Camp Idenovac, after 1 ⅹ 1944) – Croatian writer and publicist. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Paris (1919), and later he approached the communist movement (1928), which was why he was absent. As editor of the literary SP. “Review” (Zagreb, 1928), published the first Racini texts – the cottess contribution “score” and the song “The Sons of Hungry”, and as the editor of the SP. “Literature” (Zagreb, 1932), and the first deadlocks of his novel “Opium”. Due to this cooperation and mutual correspondence, it was covered in the party failure of the KPA district committee for Macedonia and closed together with the Macedonian Communists (1934). He was later arrested by the Ostables authorities (1941) and killed in the Jasenovac camp. Lit.: K. Racin, S. Gallagage: Nove, ⅱ Release.
