Fireflies (casture) – small hardlinal insects. 1-2 cm long. Glow in darkness, after which they received the name. Only males have thin, gentle and soft wings, in some species of females are bleak. They appear, usually in June and July. About 6,000 species are known in the world. In Ma-Great Firefly Kedonia This family is not sufficiently explored.
