Dimovski, Aleksandar (Ohrid, 1. ⅲ 1928 – Skopje, 25. ⅹ 2005) – UNIV. Professor, zoologist. He finished primary and secondary education in Ohrid. In 1946 He enrolled in the group of biology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje (Index number 1 at the Skopje University). After graduation (1951) he was elected as an assistant at the zoological office. In 1960 defended the doctoral dissertation. In 1961 He was elected assistant, in 1966 for an associate professor, and in 1971 for a full professor. It was retired in 1988. It performed instruction on the subjects zoology of spinal animals, comparative anatomy and anatomy of man. He dealt with the study of most of the vertebrates in Macedonia. He has published two university schoolbook and about 60 scientific papers. D. PR. Doncho Dimovski.
