Dimitrov-grandmother, Atanas Ivanov (village Sinovo, Pazardzhnik, Bulgaria, 1875 – Peak Vidin, between the village. Kuklica and Pendak, Kratovo, 12/25. Ⅵ 1905) – Royon Duke of TMORO. As a salich in Pazardzik and Sofia, he became a member of TMORO (1897). He was the Komita in Jane Sandanski and took part in the prime of Miss Elena Stone (21. ⅷ 1901). In the time of the Ilinden Uprising (1903), he was a duke and a member of the Gordan Department of the Skopje Revolutionary District of TMORO. After the uprising, he acted in Kratovo (1904). He was a participant of the Skopje District Congress of TMORO (January 1905) and elected as a member of the Skopje District Committee. He participated in 39 fights with the Ottoman army and the bashibo. The company of 13 Komites was sardisana from the military and gendarmerie cavalry and after industrious resistance, so as not to fall alive in enemy hands, the remaining comments decided on self-sacrifice.
