Damjan – The iron ore site, which occupies the central parts of the Rion Bucim-Damjan-Borov Dol. Research defines reserves of about 6.5 million tons of ore with 35% FE. The mine in regular exploitation was in the period 1968- 1992. In the construction of this site, The contact between volcanic slabs and the Paleogenic Flush, a powerful scandal zone with fe-mineralization is created. Fre-weathering is placed mainly in the storms, and in places and purely limestone parties of the Paleogenic Flash. Ore bodies have the shape of pseudoslers (elongated warehouses and lenses) built predominantly from compact magnetist-hemattic ores.
