Damovski, Aleksandar (Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 27. ⅰ 1962) – a journalist. He graduated from the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies in Journalism at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius”. He was a freelance associate of the “Student Word”, “Vecer” and the Yugoslav newspapers “flight”, “Mladost” and “attitude”. Worked in a “young fighter” (1986/89), the magazine “21” (1989/90), “Nova Makedonija” (1991/94), was the deputy editor of the Agency “Makpress” (1994/96). He was one of the founders of the first independent Macedonian newspaper “Dnevnik”, his editor-in-chief and director (1996/2003).
