Damascus -. Medieval literary, widespread in Macedonian literature and other Slavic literatures from ⅹⅴⅰ to ⅹⅰⅹ c. His phenomenon is related to the translation of the most famous literary work of Damascene Study – Strichsauráz) ?? translated by Greek in Slavic languages. In the initial period of translation, this term relied exclusively for the texts of the Damascene Study, but later joined all the collections containing texts from other authors, and formed collections-Damascus, which did not contain any word. The main feature of the Damascean is the aspiration to be written to understandable folk speech, with moral-instructive religious content. The introduction of folk traits in the Church Slavic Literary language has closer the ladies to the broad reading circles. The work of the Damascene Study is written in a newly marked language, contains thirty-six word devoted to Christian holidays and saints and experienced numerous translations and transcripts.
