Dalisin, Damyan

Dalisin, Damjan (Xi c.) – Byzantine nobleman and military leader. He was appointed Dux of Skopje (1072) after the outbreak of Georgi Voyheh and after the proclamation of Bodin for King. He led the Byzantine army in the decisive battle with the insurrection in Prizren, but he was defeated and fell into captivity. Lit.: S.
