Condovski, Dimitar (Prilep, 30. IX 1927 – Skopje, 8. 1993) – Painter, scenographer, designer, Dop. Member of MANU, professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje. It has particular importance for the development of the Macedonian contemporary painting in the sixties. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade (1952). He exhibited independently in Skopje, Zagreb, Rome, New York. In the beginning, in the images, Chessboard, Arlequin and a balcony has an impact on the Paris School. Later forms an indigenous geometric expression, grounded on medieval painting and oriental ornaments, and visual and technological point of view (twilight, polyphtich 2). Used technology characteristic of the production of icons. He also worked in the field of scenery, graphics, illustration.
