Cararasho, Anastas

Karasah, Anastas (village, in Ber, 1764 – Wilding, 1830) – Armatol from southern Macedonia. Bo-Rec against Ottoman rule in Macedonia, one of the leaders of the Neighborn Uprising (1822). After the failure of the uprising left the islands Skopelos and Skyatos, where he joined the Greek insurgents. He participated in several battles in which he pointed out with his military capabilities. For the merits, he received a high act in the Greek rebellious army.
