Canoeing in Macedonia. Organized occurs with the formation of the first QC “Vardar” in Skopje (1934) headed by Dimitrie Stavric. After the liberation, the clubs were established: “Crnik” in Ohrid (1948), “Crn Drim” in Struga, “Pelican” in Resen, “Mirce Acev” in Skopje. Navitso-Brodarski (1949), ie Brodoli Union of Macedonia (1953), which are active 34 Brodolski and Clubs (1951). The established Kayakan Union of Macedonia (1966) is shared on special alliances – for peaceful and wild waters (1975). The Yugoslav championship of peaceful waters is organized in Ohrid (1948), and the wild waters of Black Drim (1949). In the team competition, Macedonia took twice third place in Yugoslavia (1948 and 1949) and once the second (1950), and KK “Crna” third place (1953) – all of peaceful waters. QC “Mirce Acev” from Skopje became the champion of Yugoslavia of Wild waters (1957), and QC “Lastovica” from Skopje won the three times the championship of the Federal League “East” (1971-1979). A significant number of kayakari from Macedonia became the first entities of Yugoslavia and state representatives. For the world championships, two fourth, European for juniors, one third, and the Olympic Games ninth. In Macedonia, world championships were held in wild waters in downhill and slalom (1975).
