CCCRATIONS, Tomislav (Bitola, 11. 1934) – University professor, sociologist, statesman. Primary education and high school finished in his hometown. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1958). Master ‘s Degree at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade (1967), while he received his doctor at the Faculty of Law in Skopje on the topic “The social nature and function of the major organizations and the development of socialist democracy” (1976). The Faculty of Law in Skopje was elected a lecturer in the case sociology (1968) for a senior lecturer (1972), for extraordinary (1977) and for a full professor (1982). He was editor of the magazine “Views” (1964) and the Republic Secretary of Education, Science and Culture (1967-1971). He was Dean of the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1991/92), Rector of the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje (1992/93-1993/94) and Interior Minister in the Government of Branko Crvenkovski (1995-1998). He published a number of monographs and textbooks from the areas of sociological and political science. The basic idea that follows in sociology is the function of major organizations in democracy.
