Chollan, Vasko Solomonov

Chollan, Vasko Solomonov (Thessaloniki, Greece, 13. ⅶ 1932) – Thoraco-vascular surgeon, regular prof. of honey. f. in Skopje. He worked at the Torakovascular Clinic and Heart Surgery in Skopje. He finished honey. f. In Skopje (1958), where he specialized in general surgery (1964). Subspectalized Thoraco-vascular surgery and cardiac surgery (New Kassel, England 1964-1965; Belgrade, 1972). He contributed to the development of a cardiac surgeon in the Republic of Macedonia (along with I. Papan and D. Kafitziev, performed the first open heart operation in Skopje in 1973). He has published more than 150 papers, he was in the editorial board of “ACTA CSHIRGICA IUGHAZA” (1972-1992) and MMP (1978-1985).
