Bulgarian-Serbian Friendship Treaty and Union (Sofia, 29. ⅱ / 13. Ⅲ 1912) – Agreement valid until 31. ⅻ 1920. The Contracting Parties have committed mutually guarantee state independence and territorial integrity; To act with all their available forces in case any major force to occupy or only temporarily take part of the Balkan territories under Ottoman rule, if he considers one of this contrary to its life interests and for the reason for war. The agreement could have been announced or communicated to other states only after prior consent, a condition envisaged for joining an alliance of another, that is, other countries. In the secret accessory, they agreed: the territories to establish a common authority (condominium), the division to be carried out immediately or no later than three months after the establishment of peace. The Contracting Parties agreed, any other dispute over the interpretation and fulfillment of the provisions of the Treaty to be submitted to Russia for the final solution. The Contracting Parties also signed a military convention and determined the mutual obligations in the case of Bulgaria to be attacked by Romania or Serbia to be attacked by Austro-Hungary. For the conduct of the war against Turkey, the General Staffs of their armies signed two agreements, in Varna (19. / 2. ⅶ 1912) and in Sofia (15/28. IX 1912).
