Boxing in Macedonia. He demonstrated Stefan Rolev in Bitola (1908) before the pasha, the bishop, and the numerous audience. Among the two world wars there were several boxing matches in Bitola (1936), Prilep (1937) and Skopje (1938). After World War II, the first boxing section was created by Strahil Andreevski in the JSD “Victory” in Skopje, and later in “Vardar”, “Sloga” and “team” in Skopje, Veles, Bitola, Prilep and Kumanovo. Sections were registered in the difficulty board of Fis. Individual Championship of Macedonia was held in Skopje (1948), and from the next year and team. The Republic League (1950) was organized. Some clubs competed in the Serbian and Macedonian and Federal Leagues. Macedonian boxers performed individually on Yugoslavia championship (since 1951). An international tournament Golden Gong (from 1969) is organized. Zivko Dukovski won second place for seniors in Yugoslavia (1957), and Demir Idarov first (1964). Later, other Macedonian boxers became champions and representatives of Yugoslavia. Ace Rusevski and Recep Redzepovski from Kumanovo won Olympic medals.
