Bonsai

Bonsai – in a literal sense of US wood, ie wood in a pot. The shortest defined, the bonsaut is a harmonious whole of the root, the stem and branches of the plant in composition with a pot or stone. This type of culture (skill) originates from China since the ⅶ century, and already in the XI century is practiced in Korea and Japan. On the European continent samples of Bonsai are first presented in London (1902), something later in Paris, and after the Second World War, the phenomenon of Bonsai gets tremendous popularity in the United States. There are five basic styles bonsai (upright and formal, straight and informal, strain, semi-water and cascading) with 32 substitles. For maintenance of the Bonsai form, a special technique is applied to control the development of the root, trunk and branches. Initiator for transferring this technique to Macedonia is B. Sotirovski, who has been held by his associates, held three public exhibitions (1992, 1995 and 2000).
