Boniface Montafe

Boniface Montafers. (OK 1150-1207) – Montah Marquis, chief leader of the fourth Crusaded campaign, founder and ruler of the Thessaloniki state (1204-1207). After the conquest of Constantinople failed to become an emperor of the Latin Empire. Then he headed in Macedonia, where he founded a crusade of Western type with a center in Thessaloniki.
