Apostolov, Konstantin Todorov

Apostolov, Konstantin Todorov (Kocani, 17. 1933 – London, 16. ⅷ 2008) – Microbiologist, Virusologist, academician. Honey. f. He finished in Skopje (1957). In Birmingham (England) he perfected in the diagnostic virology (1959-1960). In Skopje, he claimed a specialist exam in microbiology and worked at the Medical Faculty until 1963. Founded the virological laboratory at RIHP. After 1963 He continued his career in England, first in the regional viral laboratory at the Birmingham hospital, where he specialized by electronic microscopy. Then he works in the Intellers of antivirus drugs and morphology of viruses, and then (until his retirement) such as Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Hamersmithm Hospital, in the Rosal Postgraduate Medzzal Szhol in London. He was elected a full-time professor of microbiology with the parasitology of honey. f. in Skopje (1983). For a member of the MANU outside the working composition he was elected 21. ⅳ 1994. Founder and president of the Macedonian-English Society for Friendship in London and a member of the Board of Directors for awarding English scholarships for our postgraduates. He has published over 70 scientific papers in foreign magazines.
