Amber lions (MSMLEONTIDAUE) – Networking insects. The name received the larvae, which are the greatest enemies of the ants. Adults resemble the village ponies, after the long and thin body and the two pairs of long and thin wings. The larvae make inches kloxes in a dry country or sand, in which most often hunting ants. About 1,900 species are known, mainly from the warmer landscapes in the world. In Macedonia is the most widely distributed by three types: an inthance lion (Majmeleon Formanius L.), (M. Incospessius Rambour) and European antique lion (M. Europaus L.).
