Antigoneea – an ancient city, is mentioned as a neighboring city of Stobi at 12 Roman miles on the road for Thessalonica (SP. Tabula Pouchengorian), perhaps at the Tremnik of Vardar (OK 20 km downstream of Stobi), where traces of settlement were found.
