Andonovski, Venko (Kumanovo, 30. ⅴ 1964) – poet, short story writer, novelist, drama author, essayist, critic, publicist, translator, columnist, anthologist, university professor. He graduated from the Department of General and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje. Postgraduate studies in Macedonian and Croatian literature ended in Skopje and Zagreb. Masters Degree and PhD at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, where he is employed as a full professor of subjects New Croatian literature and theory of literature (at the Department of Macedonian and South Slavic Literature). He is a member of the Macedonian Pen Center. A fruitful author appeared with success in several genre areas of contemporary Macedonian literature, and his books almost experience repeated editions. The specific letter has adorned a recognizable degree of rich literary education, authoritative evidence and scientific objectivity, which is why it stands out as a very popular author of contemporary Macedonian literature.
