Aliu, Ali Ferik (Ali Ferik Aliu) (v. Crani, Prespa, 1. ⅳ 1934) – essayist, critic, literature theorist, translator, professor, academician. He finished elementary school in Bitola, Teacher School in Skopje and graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. He received his doctorate on the topic “The literary work of Petro Mark” at the University of Pristina. He worked as a journalist and editor in “Nova Makedonija”, as well as in the magazines “Young Fighter”, “Flaka” and “Yehona”. Since 1972 He is engaged as a lecturer and professor of subjects theory of literature and with-Ali Aliu temporary Albanian literature at the Faculty of Philology at Pristina University. He is a member of the canoe, MANU outside of the working composition, as well as the DPM (1975). It deals with literary criticism and essay and is one of the most prominent Albanian literary critics. He writes critical reviews of works by Macedonian, Balkan and world literature.
