The Battle of Ipsos (301 of Pharma) – a battle between the diados (heirs) of the Kingdom of Alexander. In Phrygia, for the power in Asia, Lishimah and Selek against Antigon, and Demetrius are fighting. In the battle, Antigon perishes, and his son Demetrius retreated to Ephesus. After this decisive battle, the kingdom is divided: Lisimah is taking small Asia to Tauros, Selek – Armenia, Cappadocia, Mesopotamia and Syria; Ptolemaj keeps Egypt. Lit.: F.
