Balata, Peripeli (Krushevo, OK 1870 – Krusevo, 1903) – General practitioner. Medicine finished in Athens, and as a doctor worked shortly in Krushevo. In the Ilinden Uprising, together with Dr. Nikola Dimku, he was a doctor of the Temporary Executive Council, for the treatment of sick and injured rebels in clashes with Turkish ascer. He was caught by Turkish bashibosk, slaughtered and left on the road as a brutal admonition. P. B.
