“Republic” – the first independent daily informative (short-term) newspaper appeared on August 2, 1991, opposite the day of independence of the Republic of Macedonia. Founders: Jordan Plevnes, Goce Trajkovski (director of Nio “Republic”) and Nean Christophe Notiaas (director of EUROPS Investment, Paris). Regular exit continued in October to extinguish in early 1992, after the printed 147 numbers. It is printed as a weekly, from 25 December 1992. Editor-in-chief Vlado Mokov, then Nenad Batkoski. B. P.
