Orogens Stages in Macedonia – Orogenic movements are tectonic movements of large elements of the Earth’s crust, which cause the collection of rock masses, metamorphism, magmaticism and the creation of the vein mountains. These movements exist from the beginning of the establishment of the Earth’s crust and left traces in all stages of the development of the country. The terrain of Macedonia were exposed to tectonic disorders in the processes of several stages of several Orogens stages. The oldest traces of tectonic movements, metamorphism and magmatism are preserved in the high-time complexes of the Pelagonia and Osogovo and the Serbian-Macedonian) massif and are associated with the “Grench orogenic phase” (1,350-1,000 mln. Years) from the protoosionic era. Strong tectonic destructions and magmatic-metamorphic processes were carried out at the time of “Herzin Orogenesis”, in the young Paleozoic, on the terrain of the Western Macedonian and Vardar zone, and with lower prevalence in the Osogovo-Maleshevo massif. “Alpine orogenic stage” began before 205 mLN. years and lasts to date. It is represented by magmatism and tectonic movements that took place in several Obogenian phases (young Condommerian, Lairy, Pyrénées and Savska), of which the levent had the greatest influence of today’s morphological form of the country and the creation of high mountain massifs in the world and Macedonia.
